Jerry Donato

Meet the amazing saxophone playing of Jerry Donato! Donato moved to the Valley in 1983 from Baltimore, Md. His extensive career includes TV experience, performing on “The Arsenio Hall Show,” on soundtracks for CBS TV’s “Evening Shade” and several TNT movies. He has performed with virtually every touring show and orchestra that has come through the Valley in the past two decades.

As noted on Jerry’s site, he’s also is a member of Armand Boatman’s Bebop Revolution, and plays on that self-titled CD. He co-produced and played on the 2006 CD “Keith Greko and Friends.” Donato’s latest CD, “It’s a Cool Heat,” features the last recording of West Coast legend pianist Pete Jolly, who lived and performed in Phoenix in the ’50s and ’60s.

Jerry can perform as a solo artist or provide groups up to a 15 piece big band. Styles to include: Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Latin, Standards, Swing, Salsa and Pop. No event is too big or too small.
