Strictly Sima and her Trio
Sima Verzino was classically trained in New York performing with the big NYC society orchestras and was hired to entertain on international cruise ships. She performed in Rome, Italy performing American dance music and while there, was signed to a European record label. She continued her music in Europe for 10 years, where she also met her future husband. Upon returning to New York with Chef Marcellino, Sima dedicated her time to the joint venture of working with him to produce award-winning restaurants in New York and in 2003 moving to Scottsdale to open Marcellino Ristorante. In November 2015, Sima reignited her musical passion bringing together outstanding musicians of notoriety with musical background similar to hers. Contemporary rhythms and a soulful voice is “Sima and her Trio’s” signature sound.
Monte grew up with a love for the music of the all-time great singers, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole and others. Today he showcases a tradition of wonderful music from the classic songs of the old masters to the smash hits of their contemporary counterparts.
From the beginning, Monte has been determined to share his passion for the great music of the past with audiences everywhere. Each and every performance is filled with an enthusiasm and intensity that reawakens these classic songs and allows them to shine once more. Whenever you see the name “Monte Procopio” on the marquee you can be sure of one thing, your going to get everything he’s got!
Jerrys extensive career includes TV experience, performing on “The Arsenio Hall Show,” on soundtracks for CBS TV’s “Evening Shade” and several TNT movies. He has performed with virtually every touring show and orchestra that has come through the Valley in the past two decades.
Jerry is also is a member of Armand Boatman’s Bebop Revolution, and plays on that self-titled CD. He co-produced and played on the 2006 CD “Keith Greko and Friends.
With a deft and distinctive guitar style, an appealing and accessible songwriting ability, and a lifetime of experience on stage and in the studio, Mike Gallaher embodies the term ” Musicians Musician ”.
Equally at home with any number of contemporary musical forms, Michael has made a name for himself as one of the most versatile and multi-faceted players on the scene today who crosses all music genre borders.

Born and raised in Minneapolis, MN, Kari Shaff has been performing all around Arizona since moving here in 2007. Although Kari is no stranger to many styles, Jazz is her chosen genre as she loves the melodies, lyrics and passion it possesses. Kari focuses on the lexicon of The Great American Songbook. She can sing in an intimate dinner setting or really light up the place with a bluesier, swingier vibe.
Dave has 35 years of gigging, teaching, and composing and has performed with a diverse range of musicians, from Clark Terry to Rich Matteson to the St. Louis Symphony.He taught at Indiana and Northern Arizona universities, and has had compositions featured on NPR’s All Things Considered. He creates original jazz tunes that feature, and often combine, Bebop, Brazilian, African, and other ethnic rhythms and styles.
